Voss and Nærøyfjorden:
Some of our hiking trips in this area are not featured in Norwegian mountain guide books, and names of the mountains that do not appear on google search. We can enjoy the unique feeling of walking alone in untouched nature.
We offer a range of mountain tours with starting point Voss. Norway Mountain Guides has its bases in Bergen and Voss, and it’s no secret that the scenery is wild and beautiful. We know that many people dream of Trolltunga, and therefore we also offer that trip, but note that it is a trip with a large number of tourists.
Rimstigen:
A well-known tour is Rimstigen over Nærøyfjorden. We drive from Voss to Gudvangen an further to a small fjord village “ Bakka” and the hike up in a steep terrain. How long distance we want to hike are up to the group, we will get great view if we walk 2 or 5 hours. Only small groups with personal guide.
Time: 4-6 hours.
Medium level.
Terrain: Steep mountain terrain.
Secret adventure to 1215 meters above sea level:
Meeting point : Voss.
The hiking tour start at “Reppane” among old farm houses ,which still are in use ,and walk steeply on a good path to the top plateau. The view is stunning over the surrounding mountains and valleys, her also a harsh flora and a diverse wildlife. Here we have seen reindeer, deer, wild birds, mink, and other animals.

Terrain: Mixed, steep start.
Trolltunga:
Many tourists are interested in this hike after seeing pictures in the media from this great trip. We are happy to welcome you, but in a small group with personal touches. We offer transport from Bergen city centre. We start early from Bergen city centre (06:00) and return late midnight.
9-12 Hours.( Walking time) 3 hours driving time one way.
Level: Hard

From Fjord to mountain in Hardanger:
Malmanger Nuten:
We take the boat in the morning from Bergen city center, and arrive Rosendal in Hardanger after 2,5 hours trip. We start walk directly from the sea level and up to 900 meters about sea level. It is not the most famous walk, but it will blow you away when it comes to view! The mountain is a part of Folgefonna nationalpark. The trail is steep, but good and safe all the way.
Time: 5-6 hours.
Level: Medium / Hard.
Terrain: rocky and steep.
Km: 8-9.
